This blog will serve as my place for tracking my progress as I create my Senior Capstone project.
I will be creating a book that will help beginner gardeners learn how to grow edible gardens indoors, in the city. It may not be vital. It may not change the world. But I would like to spend my last project sharing something I really care about to the world.
So far I researched which plants are best suited to growing indoors, which ones are good for beginners, and I’ve started narrowing down which ones I want to include in the book. I have started experimenting with the overall look, sketching, looking at textures and patterns, and thinking about size and where I see the book living in an apartment.
My next task to to look into layout and start writing copy. Maybe think of a system that is repeatable so I’m not writing a whole new chapter for each plant.
