Michelob Ultra at Wells Fargo Arena

The old Budweiser space had run its course, and Anheuser-Busch was ready to replace it with something new. Enter Michelob Ultra.

Now, Michelob Ultra has an iconic brand that is very simple. Some people might find it limiting, but a good designer knows how to work inside the box.

One of the things I loved about working with this space were all the opportunities to inject unexpected designs.

The pillars, which were a large as they were in the way. presented an opportunity not just to feature the brand, but the product itself as larger-than-life cans (if only you could drink them).

The windows, a feature that most people wouldn’t think twice about, became a place for their logomark to shine.

And their tables, already their iconic red, only needed a little push to be brought into the fold.

In the end, every patron knows exactly where they are and is happy to be there.
